From time to time we hear from customers that they’re really looking for something different in a fireplace. Presenting Heat n Glo’s LUX60 – something strikingly different. Big, bold and modern, the LUX60 took the industry’s top Vesta Award for its design. Instead of traditional logs, feast your eyes on the stainless steel fire tubes resting on black glass media. The LUX60 pumps out 60-thousand BTUs and also has modulating LED accent lighting – you can set one color or auto-cycle through all six colors with a front panel in either Plated Black Nickel or Black.

- Heat n Glo FBIN Gas Insert w/Halston front
The popular size of the Heat n Glo FBIN insert will fit most fireplaces. It’s also a dandy little heater going from 27-thousand BTUs to a high of 38-thousand BTUs. The airtight, energy-wise model is AFUE rated for nearly 80% efficiency. The FBIN is made of Heat n Glo’s FireBrick – a patented ceramic fiber material with a very high insulation factor. FireBrick tolerates more heat, traps more heat and radiates more heat into the room than a metal fireplace insert. The FBIN is shown here with the Halston operable doors in Aged Brass. the Halston front is also available in Black, Graphite, and New Bronze.

- Heat n Glo SL550TR Zero Clearance Fireplace
Good eye if you noticed that there’s already a Heat n Glo SL550 listed on our website. To look at the fireplace, there’s not much to “see” what the differences are between the two models – except the way the fireplace has been displayed, of course. But there is an important difference if you’re looking for efficiency. Most manufacturers make fireplaces in this category of two different types – one is more for decoration – to be a fireplace where the amount of heat isn’t really a consideration. The other type has been tested to tougher furnace standards, so you get better efficiency (approaching 80%), more options and more heat. Shown here is the Heat n Glo SL550TR which generates between 15-thousand BTUs to 21-thousand BTUs, considered to be a moderate level of heat. The SL550TRS is the model with the better flame, an advanced ceramic burner and refractory and the all-important AFUE rating with a range of 18,200 BTUs to 27,300 BTUs. The SL550TRS also has ceramic glass, considered to be a better heat conductor than the more regular tempered glass so you also feel more of the heat in the room. Just wanted you to know the difference.
- Heat n Glo Tiara II Freestanding Fireplace
Tuscan Olive or Espresso? Not hors d’ouerves, but the new colors for Heat n Glo’s Tiara II freestanding gas fireplace. The Tiara II also comes in classic matte black. You can adjust the flame height and heat output from 27-thousand BTUs all the way up to 38,500 BTUs for substantial heat. The sturdy cast iton offers a traditional look and you can dress it up with optional warming shelves.
If you’re looking for the same style in a smaller package, the Tiara also comes in two smaller sizes and heating capacities.
- Heat n Glo Slimline SL550 Zero Clearance Fireplace
Simple, simple, simple. That’s what the SlimLine Series of Zero clearance fireplaces from Heat n Glo is. Pick a size, a front and even a mantel system, and end up with an enchanting, efficient focal point. The SL-550 shown here with the Kenwood flush mantel gives you 32″ viewing area, perfect size for a den, and is only 16 1/4″ deep. Heat n Glo’s Clean Face Kit is a front option that allows you to dress the front of the fireplace with stone or tile right to the firebox edge for a clean finish.
In addition to the SL-550, the SL-350 offers 28″ of viewing area, the SL-750 has 36″ and the SL-950 has a 42″ viewing area.
